This notice describes Travices Nigeria Limited’s privacy policy which is in line with Nigeria’s Data Protection Regulation of 2019 for our website www.travices.com  (the site) including all online services and functions. Your use of this website equates to your agreement to provisions set down below.

1. Booking
   Our website provides for online bookings of; flights, accommodations, Travel Advice and Visa (all of the foregoing is referred to as Bookings) with the use of a Booking form. The use of this booking form is optional, however if this option is used, you will be required to provide contact information, consisting of your name, phone number and email address etc.
   You are also permitted to write your comments, whilst filling the booking form and in this instance, you consent to it being passed to others by use of the functions of the site or in the bid to provide necessary solutions o what issues that arise from such comments.
2. Use of Information 

   The information collected from you is used in a number of ways. We use the information solicited from you to process your bookings, maintain the quality of our service, generate statistics about our site visitors, tailor and advance the contents of our site, to meet any request you have made, carry out research and overall heighten our service delivery to you. The information collected is also used to arrange and prepare reports for our internal use and for our current or potential partners or third parties such as; agents, investors, sponsors and advertisers.

   We may regularly wish to afford you with information about distinct features on our site or any other service we think may be of interest to you. Occasionally, we might provide you with related information from third parties we think may be of interest. Your information could also be provided to selected third parties, our affiliates or subsidiaries whose products or services we believe may be of interest to you.    We sometimes hire other companies to provide services on our behalf for instance, monitoring of customer satisfaction and performing statistical analysis of our service(s). We will only provide those companies with the information necessary to provide us with such services and we shall prohibit them from using that information for any other purpose.

    

3. Email from Travices for newsletters and announcements
   Travices may use your username and email address to provide you with email newsletters and publications or announcements. Travices provides you with the option to unsubscribe from newsletters and announcements by return email or sending a notification of your desire to opt out of such to a provided email.

    

4. Additional information for specific purposes
   The site may call for additional information from you on service order forms or other online transaction forms. Such form may require you to provide contact information (such as name or mailing address) and payment information (such as credit card number and expiration day). Information that you provide in this way may be used for billing and account purposes, for recording services that you have requested.  Travices may use this contact information to communicate about services, or fees or charges.

   Travices may use other third party affiliates like a credit or debit card processing company to process payments for services. These companies have access to user information in order to perform their functions

   Travices may partner with other third parties to provide specific goods or services. When you sign up for such goods or services, Travices will share names or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these goods or services. Travices does not authorize third party providers to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose related to these services.

5. Feedback to Travices
   Travices has feedback abilities or technicalities on the site that allows you to submit comments, suggestions, or bugs found. Travices may collect your name or username and email address in order to follow up with you or thank you for a suggestion

6. Anonymous data
   Travices may track the site to evaluate trends, in the administration of the site, track your actions and use of the site, record transactions and collate demographic information for aggregate use. Such analysis is not linked to personally identifiable information.

   Travices may share aggregated demographic and usage information with its partners and advertisers. This aggregated information is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

Travices advices users to be aware when they leave the site and to read the privacy statements or policies of sites that collect personally identifiable information. This privacy policy applies only to information collected on Travices’ site.

8. Security technology
   When a site’s Bookings/ order form asks users to enter financial information (such as credit or debit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected during transmission through the Internet using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software. You should see the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked or open when you are just surfing. 9. Correction/updating of personal information
   If you provide personally identifiable information changes (such as an email address or zip code), Travices tries to provide a way to amend, update or erase your personal data. This can usually be done by contact us via our earlier identified email.

10. Protection of Minors
    Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to book on this site or use any functionality for which registration is required.

11. Business or asset transfer or sale
    Travices may be sold, might sell or buy businesses or assets of businesses, or Travices might merge with another business. In such transactions, customer’s data generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that Travices, a line of business of Travices, or substantially all the assets of Travices are transferred, customer information or data may well be one of the transferred assets. Travices will make necessary effort to provide notice on the site and to notify you via email to the most recent email address that you have provided to Travices of any of such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

     

12. Release of information for legal reasons
    Travices may release information concerning your use of Travices (including but not limited to booking information, and network records) when it believes in good faith that such release is appropriate to comply with the law (for example, pursuant to a statutory demand, subpoena, warrant or court order), to protect against fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use of the Travices website, to protect Travices’ rights or property, enforce any contract between you and Travices, or Travices reasonably believes that a situation involving danger of death or injury to any person shall be averted via disclosure.

13. Conditions of Use
    By visiting our site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and our Website Terms of Use. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use this website. By submitting your personal information, you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. You affirm that you have the consent to provide any data or information you have furnished on this site. Your continued use of the site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

     

14. Limited Use
    Travices does not intend to sell, share or rent information obtained on this site other than as discussed in this privacy policy.

     

15. Consequences of Breach
    In the situation where a data subject is under the impression that this privacy policy provisions have been breached by Travices or that his data or information has treated in an unfair manner such data subject has the right to duly notify Travices as the data controller and request that the data subjects’ information be duly erased. At the instance of such notification via an updated email address and from the acknowledgement of the receipt of such notification Travices would have 2 months to have such information of the data subject to be duly erased.

16. Legal Governance
    This Privacy Policy is by the Nigeria’s Data Protection Regulation of 2019 and according to its mandatory provisions of Article 2.5(i), the Data Controller Travices would not by any limitation clause in this Privacy Policy be availed by any protection not duly permitted under the NDPR or a Nigerian Court of competent jurisdiction.

17. Changes in this privacy policy
    If Travices decides to change its privacy policy, Travices will post those changes on Travices site so Travices’ users can remain aware of what information Travices collects, how Travices employs it, and under what circumstances, if any, Travices could reveal it.
